Grim’s Dyke Opera

Check website for details but Opera Dinner performances with a G&S music from across several Operas are planned for:

13th March           The Mikado
22nd May             Tea on the Lawn with Gilbert & Sullivan – from 1.00 pm
19th June              Trial by Jury and Tea on the Lawn – from 1.00pm

Scottish Opera  with The D’Oyly Carte Opera  Company and State Opera South Australia

The Gondoliers

Hackney Empire, London  30th – 31st March and 2nd April.

Utopia Limited. Semi-staged concert performance performed by the cast of The Gondoliers, 1st April.

Conductors Derek Clark & Jonathan Cole-Swinard. Director Stuart Maunder.

Theatrical Adventures river cruises for 2022:

The Seine (25th – 31st March)  Includes a visit to Rouen and a chance to explore Paris
Venice (1st – 7th May) A brand new cruise to Chioggia, Porto Viro, Rovigo, Toretta, Valdaro and Mantua.
Andalucia (13th – 19th November) Through the heart of Spain with an optional tour of the magnificent Alhambra Palace in Granada.

These holidays are run by the same company as the International G&S Festival. No supplement for single cabins and a programme of G&S music with stars from the G&S Opera Company during the cruise. 

28th International G&S Festival 2022  

30th  July – 6th August (Buxton) & 10th – 21st  August (Harrogate)

New productions from The National G&S Opera Co. of IolantheThe Pirates of Penzance, H.M.S. Pinafore and Utopia Ltd.
Other productions include Charles Court Opera’s Patience and Express G&S plus The Gondoliers  from Forbear! Theatre.  Amateur performances are back and a fringe programme.
