'There was a time'
An afternoon of Sullivan rarities and Trial by Jury featuring Vice-Presidents Leon Berger (baritone), Bruce Graham (baritone) and Elinor Jane Moran (soprano) plus Russell Painter (tenor) and Joanna Gamble (contralto). Accompanied by Tim Smith.
The first half will replicate the programme of a concert given to the Society in 1932. If you attended this event, we would be pleased to hear from you and give you a complimentary place! The second half of the afternoon will be given over to a semi-staged Trial by Jury with our guests taking the principal roles. Here is an opportunity for some community singing as our audience will be invited to sing the chorus. We hope to have a number of scores on hand to lend out but suggest if you have your own, you bring it on this occasion.
This afternoon promises to be something very special.
