'Just the sort of girl you like'


A recital by mezzo-soprano Meriel Cunningham featuring items from Gilbert and Sullivan alongside music from opera and musical theatre.  Meriel will also share reflections on her performing work with the National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company and Charles Court Opera.

Meriel is a known for her versatility across opera and musical theatre.  She is an established performer of Gilbert and Sullivan and her roles include Iolanthe, Phoebe, Constance, Tessa, Lady Angela and Pitti-Singh.  She has received praise for both her vocal warmth and dramatic  performance.
