AGM and Concert from A Merry Band

AGM, our annual business meeting to be followed by a concert from A Merry Band.  The documents for the AGM including the Minutes from last year were sent out with the Summer News and copies will be available on the night along with our Annual Report.  If you have mislaid or never received these documents and would like another copy, please email [email protected] to request a digital copy.

A Merry Band is a trio of singers: Katie Plummer (soprano), Zoe Avern (mezzo) and Alec Evans (baritone).  They are a group of very talented and enthusiastic young amateurs from the Godalming area.  They have collectively performed the works of Gilbert and Sullivan many times over and given concerts and recitals in London, Surrey and Hampshire for charity. They will be accompanied by Andrew Harper and will bring us a concert entitled 'Something New'.

On this occasion they will be joined by Vice-President and guest artiste, Leon Berger and we are delighted that they will include the 'lost songs' from Iolanthe, recently rediscovered and a premiere for the Society.

Admission:                 Free for members, £10 for non-members payable on the door
