Ian Martin gives us his 'Utopian Island discs'

At this, our Seasonal Gathering, Ian Martin will choose some 'Utopian Island discs' and then discuss his choices and work with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Trust.   To be followed by some seasonal refreshments, a short magic show from Michael Symes and John Tritton's annual diabolical quiz.

Ian Martin has served as  the Secretary of the D’Oyly Carte Opera Trust for many years.  In March this year,  he organised a celebration of 150 years of Trial by Jury on D’Oyly Carte Island.  This will be the first time we have welcomed him to the Society.
