After 'cooking' for over a year now, our new website will go live on 1 March 2023.

The new website is linked to our membership database, and will make member administration simpler, more accurate, and more secure.

What will you be able to do?

  • You'll be able to see and manage your own membership details.
  • You’ll be able to read back copies of the G&S News online.
  • You'll be able to pay online for society meetings.
  • Affiliated organisations will be able to add their shows to the events listings.

Some of these things will require you to register on the new website.

You can set up your own account (using a password of your choice) by clicking 'Log in' at the top right of the web page. Once you have set up your account, although you are a Life member, you will nevertheless see a message:

"Your membership subscription is set to expire because you haven't set a payment method"

with a grey box below that, inviting you to 'Manage your membership'

Life members

Please don't worry about this.
Your membership is set to expire in 2999 so it will be several centuries before you're asked for any payment.

UK members

It would be most helpful if you would update your subscription with a new direct debit mandate. This is a simple, secure way of paying; it saves us a great deal of administration time and saves you £5 over the cost of an annual subscription.

If you want to make a single manual payment, you can use your credit or debit card to pay using Stripe. Stripe is the equivalent of PayPal. You can set up an annual payment which will run until you change your credit card.

If you have any problems, please email membership @ gilbertandsullivansociety. org.uk

Many thanks to Stuart Box for all the work he's done on our previous website, as well as supporting the development of the new site, and to Kelsey Thornton, who has kindly agreed to be our new web manager.
